Perched at the edge of Jetties Beach, Sandbar offers what no other restaurant on Nantucket can match — a spacious, open-air setting with plentiful seating right in the surrounding sand and unobstructed views of Nantucket Sound.
We serve a wonderfully fresh raw bar, delicious burgers and sandwiches, seafood, and a full lineup of handcrafted cocktails. Come for lunch, stay for the sunset. We don't take reservations — just show up, find your spot, and let the island do the rest.

$1 oysters every day from 3–5 PM. Local Nantucket oysters at their freshest.
No reservations accepted — first come, first served. Pure Nantucket casual.
Every seat has a view. Watch the tides, the sailboats, and the island light change.
Mid-May through October. Accessible via shuttle from Broad Street — $1 each way.
